Dar Al-Anbar Participates in a Closed-Door Roundtable Discussion on Economic Reform Pathways in Iraq

As part of its interest in national economic affairs and its commitment to supporting purposeful strategic dialogue, a delegation from Dar Al-Anbar participated in a closed-door roundtable discussion organized by the Strategic Foundation for Public Policies through the Strategic Center for Economic Policies. The discussion addressed the key challenges facing the Iraqi economy and examined pathways for reform and development, as well as their future prospects.

The roundtable featured in-depth discussions on the current state of the Iraqi economy, prospects for government-led economic reform, and ways to formulate practical and implementable recommendations that could contribute to strengthening economic stability and achieving sustainable growth and development. The event brought together a distinguished group of academics, experts, and specialists, and featured the notable participation and contribution of Professor Frank R. Gunter.

The session also included a presentation by Dr. Mohammed Juma Rahim, a member of Dar Al-Anbar, who addressed the current state of the Iraqi economy and the main challenges confronting the reform process, in addition to the opportunities and available potential for enhancing economic performance and achieving development.

The Dar Al-Anbar delegation emphasized the importance of strengthening integration between academic expertise and national perspectives, as well as expanding opportunities for specialized dialogue. Such efforts contribute to developing realistic and effective visions and solutions to economic challenges and support reform and sustainable development initiatives in Iraq.
