Al-Anbar House for Dialogue Participates in the Seminar “Governance of Iraqi Diplomacy: Cultural Diplomacy as a Societal Avenue for International Relations”

At the kind invitation of the Bahr Al-Ulum Dialogue Forum, Al-Anbar House for Dialogue participated in the dialogue seminar organized by the Forum in Baghdad, titled “Governance of Iraqi Diplomacy: Cultural Diplomacy as a Societal Avenue for International Relations.” The event was attended and participated in by Dr. Muthanna Abdul-Wahab Juma’a, Dr. Raed Obaid Saleh, and Dr. Mahmoud Madloul Faza’a.

The seminar brought together a distinguished group of academics, politicians, specialists, and representatives of cultural and research institutions and centers. The speakers included H.E. Ms. Sarwa Abdul Wahid, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, and Dr. Montaser Sabah Al-Hasnawi, Director General of the Conference Palace.

The seminar addressed a number of themes related to cultural diplomacy and its role in building bridges of communication among peoples, strengthening Iraq’s presence in its regional and international surroundings, as well as the importance of harnessing societal, cultural, and academic capacities to support the pathways of international relations.

Al-Anbar House for Dialogue’s participation comes as part of its commitment to active engagement in national and cultural events and dialogues, and to strengthening communication with research and intellectual institutions and centers. This contributes to the exchange of expertise and perspectives, creates broader spaces for dialogue, and reinforces the role of culture and thought in serving society and enhancing Iraq’s standing.
